"Healing Touch started looking after our mum 8 months ago. They come in twice a day to check on her wellbeing and to give her support with personal care and medication. All the carers are really lovely. Mary is the one Mum sees most and she is kind, gentle, caring and pro active. This is not an easy job but all the carers carry it out with grace and kindness, affording Mum respect, dignity and companionship. Can't ask for more than that. "My mum sadly has Alzheimer's. I was so worried about her living alone in a top floor flat, and the thought petrified me. Healing Touch were assigned to care for my mum — they come in three times a day and are my mum's lifeline. Through their care and compassion, she is washed, dressed, fed, medication taken care of and, most importantly, she has the added companionship every day. The carers are wonderful, happy, bubbly and more than experienced to deal with the challenges of looking after my mum. Their patience knows no bounds — they find solutions to every challenge, such as my mum's eating, by eating with her to encourage her. My mum isn't the most cooperative with even the basic tasks, but they approach it with kindness and persistence, and it doesn't go unnoticed. I am communicated with about everything.
